How To Make Omurice?

Cook 2 cups of rice and let it cool slightly

Dice onion, carrot, and any other desired vegetables

Heat oil or butter in a pan

Sauté the onion and vegetables until softened

Add cooked rice to the pan

Season with salt, pepper, and ketchup

Mix well and cook until evenly coated

Set the rice aside on a plate

Beat 2 to 3 eggs in a bowl

Heat butter in a nonstick pan over medium heat

Pour in the beaten eggs

Stir gently until mostly set but still soft

Place the rice mixture in the center of the omelet

Fold the omelet over the rice

Slide onto a plate

Top with ketchup if desired
