Open the Sim’s phone or computer

If using the career panel, click the Sim’s job entry
Select Resign or Quit Job
Confirm the action
If the Sim is at work, wait until they return home and quit from the phone or computer
If the game does not show Quit Job, use the career panel or job menu instead
