Remove one queen from a standard deck of cards to create an odd card
Shuffle the remaining cards thoroughly
Deal all cards face down to all players as evenly as possible
Let each player look at their cards and remove any matching pairs of the same rank
Place all removed pairs aside
Choose a starting player
On each turn, draw one card from the hand of the player to the left
If the drawn card matches a card in your hand, remove the pair
If it does not match, keep the card in your hand
Continue turns clockwise until all pairs are removed
Avoid being the player left holding the unpaired card
The player holding the Old Maid card at the end loses
