Place the scale on a flat, stable surface
Remove all items from the scale
Turn on the scale and let it warm up if required
Press the calibration button or enter calibration mode
Wait for the display to show the calibration prompt
Place the specified calibration weight on the scale
Use the exact weight recommended by the manufacturer
Wait for the scale to register the weight
Confirm or save the calibration if prompted
Remove the calibration weight
Turn the scale off and back on
Test the scale with a known weight
Repeat the calibration if the reading is inaccurate
