Disassemble the pipe if possible
Empty out any loose residue
Rinse the pipe with warm water
Add isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt to the pipe
Cover all openings and shake gently
Let it soak for 15 to 30 minutes
Shake again to loosen buildup
Use pipe cleaners or cotton swabs for hard-to-reach areas
Rinse thoroughly with warm water
Wash with mild dish soap if needed
Rinse again until no residue remains
Let the pipe air dry completely
