Shut down the Mac and unplug the power adapter
Disconnect all cables and accessories
Use a soft, clean, lint-free microfiber cloth
Gently wipe the display in a circular motion
For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water
Wipe the screen again with a dry microfiber cloth
Do not spray liquid directly onto the display
Do not use paper towels, tissues, or abrasive cloths
Do not use window cleaner, ammonia, alcohol, or aerosol sprays
Keep moisture away from openings and ports
Let the display dry completely before turning the Mac back on
