Open Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac

Delete unwanted backups
Delete photos and videos from iCloud Photos
Delete files from iCloud Drive
Delete messages and attachments stored in iCloud
Delete app data using iCloud
Turn off iCloud sync for apps you do not want to use storage
Empty the Recently Deleted album in Photos
Empty the Recently Deleted folder in Files
Remove old device backups you no longer need
Sign in to iCloud.com
Delete files, photos, and notes from iCloud.com
Empty deleted items from iCloud.com
Wait for storage to update after deletions
Upgrade your iCloud storage plan if needed
