Draw a small oval for the head
Add a larger oval for the body
Connect the head and body with two short curved lines for the neck
Draw two pointed ears on top of the head
Add two small circles for the eyes
Draw a small oval or triangle for the nose
Sketch four thin legs under the body
Add small hooves at the bottom of each leg
Draw a short tail at the back of the body
Add two simple antlers on top of the head if drawing a male deer
Refine the outline to make the deer shape smooth
Erase extra lines
Color the deer brown with a lighter belly and white spots if desired
