Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager
Select the app that’s not responding
Click End task
If needed, right-click the app and select End task
Use Alt + F4 with the app selected to close it
If the app won’t close, open Task Manager and end the task
Sign out or restart if Task Manager end task doesn’t work
Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, then choose Sign out or Restart
