Let the sourdough bread cool completely
Slice the bread if you want to freeze portions for later
Wrap the loaf or slices tightly in plastic wrap or parchment paper
Place the wrapped bread in a freezer-safe bag or airtight container
Remove as much air as possible before sealing
Label the package with the date
Freeze the bread as soon as possible
Store in the freezer for up to 3 months
Thaw at room temperature when ready to use
Reheat in the oven if desired to refresh the crust
