You cannot mute or turn off another person’s screen on FaceTime
You can mute their audio only if they are sharing their screen and you are controlling your own device settings
To stop seeing their video, leave the FaceTime call
To reduce distractions, turn on Do Not Disturb or Focus mode
To hide your own video, turn off your camera in the FaceTime call
To mute your own microphone, tap the microphone button in the FaceTime controls
To end the call, tap the red End button
