Make sure the vehicle battery and key fob battery are in good condition
Sit inside the vehicle with all doors closed
Insert the key into the ignition if your vehicle uses a physical key
Turn the ignition to the required position according to the manual
Press the lock or unlock button on the fob when prompted
Wait for the vehicle to confirm programming with a sound, light flash, or cycle
Repeat the button press for any additional key fobs
Turn the ignition off and remove the key
Test the key fob functions to confirm it is programmed

If the fob still does not work, replace the battery and try again
