How To Roast Spuds?

Preheat the oven to 425°F / 220°C

Wash and dry the potatoes

Peel if desired

Cut into even-sized pieces

Toss with oil, salt, and pepper

Add optional seasonings if desired

Spread in a single layer on a baking tray

Roast for 25 to 40 minutes

Turn halfway through cooking

Roast until golden and crisp outside

Check that the inside is tender

Serve immediately
