How To Write The Address In An Envelope?

Write the recipient’s name on the first lines

Write the street address (include apartment/suite/unit number if applicable)

Write the city, state/province, and ZIP/postal code on the next line

Write the country name on the last line (if sending internationally)

Use the format:

Recipient Name

Street Address, Apt/Suite/Unit

City, State ZIP

Country (if applicable)

Place the return address in the top-left corner

Use the same address format for the return address (name, street, city/state/ZIP, country if applicable)

Use clear, legible handwriting or printed text

Keep all lines aligned and avoid abbreviations unless they are standard for your country

Use correct capitalization for city and state/province names

Leave a blank area in the center for postage and any required barcode/label
