Open the Instagram app (or go to Instagram on a web browser)
Log in to the account you want to delete
Go to your profile
Tap the menu (three lines) or your profile settings
Select Settings and privacy
Tap Accounts Center
Select Personal details
Choose Account ownership and control
Select Deactivation or deletion
Select Delete account
Choose Continue to account deletion
Select a reason for deletion
Re-enter your password
Confirm Delete
Wait for the account to be permanently deleted (it may take some time)
