Wash the watermelon
Place it on a cutting board
Cut off both ends
Stand the watermelon upright
Slice it in half lengthwise
Cut each half into wedges
Make diagonal cuts from the center outward
Separate the triangle pieces
Remove the rind if desired
Serve the triangles
