Open Facebook Messenger
Open the chat containing the message
Press and hold the message
Tap Remove or Delete
Select Unsend for Everyone if available
Confirm the action
To delete only from your view, choose Remove for You
On desktop, click the three dots next to the message
Select Remove or Delete
Choose the deletion option
Confirm the action
