Let the wax harden completely
Gently scrape off excess wax with a plastic card or putty knife
Place a paper towel or brown paper bag over the remaining wax
Warm the area with a hair dryer on low heat
Blot the softened wax with the paper towel
Repeat warming and blotting until the wax is gone
Clean any residue with warm water and mild dish soap
Wipe the wall dry with a clean cloth
Use a magic eraser carefully if needed on washable paint
Test any cleaning method on a small hidden area first
