Check that your Airtel SIM is active and eligible for porting
Send an SMS from your Airtel number to 1900 with the text PORT
Receive the UPC code and note its validity period
Visit a Jio Store, Jio Retailer, or authorized Jio partner outlet
Carry your original Aadhaar card or other valid ID proof
Provide the UPC code and fill out the Mobile Number Portability form
Complete biometric verification if required
Submit the porting request and choose your Jio plan
Keep your Airtel SIM active until the porting is completed
Insert the Jio SIM after the porting process is finished
Wait for the activation SMS and network switch to Jio
Restart your phone if the Jio network does not appear immediately
