How To Make A Throwing Star With Paper?

Cut a square of paper, about 15 cm x 15 cm (or any size you prefer)

Fold the square in half diagonally to make a triangle

Fold the triangle in half again to make a smaller triangle

Fold the tip of the small triangle back toward the base to create a flap

Unfold once so you have a single crease guide for the tip position

Fold the paper so it forms a flat double-layer triangle shape along the guide

Fold one side corner of the triangle toward the center crease

Fold the other side corner toward the center crease

Fold the top flap down to lock the shape

Repeat the folding steps to create a second identical half

Place the two halves together so the folded edges align

Fold the combined piece along the center so it stays flat

Crease firmly along all edges

Trim any excess paper so the edges are sharp and symmetrical

Make 3–5 shuriken blades by repeating the whole process and matching sizes

Arrange blades evenly around the center point

Create a small center hub by folding a short strip of paper into a tight square/rectangle

Tape or glue the hub to secure all blades together

Reinforce the center with tape on both sides

Hold the shuriken by the center hub

Test gently first, then adjust folds if it’s too flexible
