Open the Instagram app
Tap the paper airplane or Messenger icon in the top right
Open the chat with the person you want to call
Tap the phone icon for an audio call
Tap the video camera icon for a video call
If you do not see the call icons, update the app
Make sure both accounts support Instagram calling
Allow microphone and camera permissions if prompted
