Gather ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt
Add wet ingredients: 1 cup milk, 2 large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract
Prepare batter: whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
Whisk in milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth
Rest batter 10–15 minutes
Heat oil in a deep pot or fryer to 375°F (190°C)
Transfer batter to a squeeze bottle or funnel with a nozzle
Drizzle batter into hot oil in a circular web pattern
Fry until golden brown, about 1–2 minutes per side
Flip carefully and fry until second side is golden brown
Remove to a wire rack or paper towels to drain
Repeat with remaining batter
Serve immediately with powdered sugar
