Rinse 1/2 cup of uncooked rice thoroughly
Place the rice in a bowl with 2 to 3 cups of water
Swirl the rice for 1 to 2 minutes
Strain the rice and collect the water in a clean container
Let the rice water sit for 12 to 24 hours if you want it fermented
Store the rice water in the refrigerator
Use a cotton pad or clean hands to apply it to your face
Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes
Rinse with lukewarm water
Use 2 to 3 times per week
Discard any rice water that smells sour or looks cloudy with mold
