Open WhatsApp
Tap the three dots on Android or Settings on iPhone
Go to Chats
Tap Chat backup
Choose Back up to Google Drive on Android or Auto Backup on iPhone
Select the backup frequency
Choose the Google account on Android
Tap Back Up Now
Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi
Ensure you have enough storage on your phone and cloud account
Enable Include videos if you want videos backed up
