Remove the battery cover on the Roku remote
Insert the batteries (or confirm they’re installed correctly)
Press and hold the pairing button inside the battery compartment (or the Home button if your model uses that method) for 3–5 seconds
Wait for the pairing light to blink, then stop blinking
Follow the on-screen instructions on your TV to complete pairing
If prompted, select your language and confirm the remote is detected
If pairing doesn’t work, remove the batteries, wait 10 seconds, reinsert them, and try again
If you have a Roku Voice Remote, press and hold the Home button for 5 seconds to start pairing
If you have a Roku TV remote, press and hold the Pairing button (or Home/Back buttons depending on model) until pairing starts
If you still can’t pair, try a different remote or use the Roku mobile app as a temporary remote
