Wash your hands first
Remove any damaged or moldy strawberries
Keep the stems on
Place strawberries in a colander
Rinse under cold running water
Gently rub each strawberry with your fingers
Drain well
Pat dry with a clean paper towel or cloth
Remove the stems after washing if needed
