Use a genuine Windows 10 product key from Microsoft or an authorized retailer.
Sign in with a Microsoft account that already has a digital license linked to your device.
If you upgraded from a previously activated copy, run Activation Troubleshooter in Settings.
Check whether your PC came with Windows 10 preinstalled and restore the OEM license.
Contact the PC manufacturer or Microsoft Support if you believe you have a valid license issue.
Use Windows 10 unactivated with limited personalization until you obtain a legitimate license.
Consider upgrading to a licensed Windows 11 or purchasing a valid Windows 10 license if available.
