Adjust the seat, mirrors, and steering wheel
Fasten your seatbelt
Press the brake pedal with your right foot
Start the engine
Keep the gear selector in Park
Move the gear selector to Drive when ready to go forward
Move the gear selector to Reverse when backing up
Release the parking brake
Slowly lift your foot off the brake
Gently press the accelerator with your right foot
Use only your right foot for both brake and accelerator
Keep both hands on the steering wheel while driving
Brake smoothly when slowing down or stopping
Bring the car to a complete stop before changing gears
Shift to Park when parking
Turn off the engine before exiting the car
