Fill in the account closure form with your account details and reason for closure
Clear all pending dues, charges, and linked obligations
Remove or transfer funds from the account before closure
Cancel or unlink any debit cards, standing instructions, ECS mandates, SIPs, and auto-debits
Visit the nearest Kotak Bank branch with the completed closure form and required KYC documents
Submit the closure request at the branch
Collect acknowledgment or reference number after submission
If Kotak provides a digital request option for your account type, submit the closure request through net banking, mobile banking, or customer support as instructed by the bank
Follow up with customer care or the branch until the account closure is confirmed
Download or request the closure confirmation once the account is closed
