Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause to open the App Switcher
Swipe left or right to find the app you want to close
Swipe the app’s preview up and off the top of the screen
Press the Home button (on iPhone models with a Home button) to return to the Home Screen
Double-press the Home button to open the App Switcher, then swipe the app’s preview up to close it
