How To Make Suji Halwa?

Heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a pan

Add 1 cup suji (semolina) and roast on low to medium heat until golden and fragrant

In another pan, heat 2 cups water or milk

Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar to the hot water or milk and stir until dissolved

Carefully pour the hot liquid into the roasted suji while stirring continuously

Cook on low heat until the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan

Add 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

Add 2 tablespoons chopped nuts and raisins if desired

Mix well and cook for 1 to 2 minutes

Turn off the heat and serve warm
