Shuffle the deck and deal 7 tableau piles from left to right
Put 1 card face up in the first pile, 2 cards in the second, up to 7 cards in the seventh
Turn the top card of each pile face up
Place the remaining cards face down as the stock
Build tableau piles by alternating colors and descending ranks
Move only face-up cards or valid stacks of face-up cards
Fill empty tableau spaces with a king or a valid stack starting with a king
Move aces to the foundation piles when available
Build each foundation pile upward by suit from ace to king
Draw cards from the stock when no useful tableau moves are available
Use the waste card if it can be played
Continue moving cards between tableau, waste, and foundation
Win by moving all cards to the foundation piles
