Shuffle the deck and deal 7 cards to each player
Give each player 1 Defuse card
Remove one Exploding Kitten card for each player minus one, then shuffle the remaining Exploding Kitten cards into the deck
Place the deck face down in the center
On your turn, draw 1 card from the deck
If you draw an Exploding Kitten, you are out unless you have a Defuse card
If you have a Defuse card, play it to avoid exploding and place the Exploding Kitten back into the deck wherever you want
After drawing, you may play any number of cards from your hand
End your turn by passing play to the next player
Use cards to attack, skip, shuffle, peek, favor, steal, or alter the deck and turns
The last player still in the game wins
