Measure the item or items to be packed
Choose the right cardboard sheet or carton board
Mark the required box dimensions on the sheet
Cut the cardboard according to the marked lines
Score the fold lines with a ruler or scoring tool
Fold the cardboard along the scored lines
Apply glue or tape to the joining edges
Press the edges firmly to form the box shape
Reinforce the corners and bottom with extra tape if needed
Cut and attach flaps for the top and bottom
Seal the box with tape after packing the contents
