Locate the HTML file on your computer
Right-click the file
Select Open with
Choose Google Chrome
If Chrome is not listed, click Choose another app or Browse
Select Google Chrome and confirm
Alternatively, open Google Chrome first
Press Ctrl+O on Windows or Command+O on Mac
Select the HTML file
Click Open
You can also drag and drop the HTML file into an open Chrome window
