Brush hair to remove tangles
Part hair at the crown
Divide the section into three strands
Cross the right strand over the middle strand
Cross the left strand over the middle strand
Add a small section of hair to the right strand
Cross the right strand over the middle strand
Add a small section of hair to the left strand
Cross the left strand over the middle strand
Repeat adding hair and crossing strands down the head
Keep tension even while braiding
Continue until all hair is included
Finish with a regular three-strand braid
Secure the end with an elastic
Repeat on the other side if desired
