Bring one document proving identity and date of birth
Bring one document proving Social Security number
Bring two documents proving Illinois residency
Bring proof of signature if required
Bring proof of legal name change if your current name differs from your birth name
Complete the Real ID application
Have your photo taken
Pay the required fee
Receive your Real ID by mail if applicable or at the facility if issued there
