Soak feet in warm water for 10–15 minutes
Use a pumice stone or foot file on softened skin
Gently exfoliate 1–3 times per week
Apply a thick moisturizer after exfoliating
Use urea, lactic acid, or salicylic acid foot cream
Wear socks after moisturizing to lock in moisture
Keep feet clean and dry
Avoid picking or cutting dead skin
Trim toenails regularly
Wear properly fitting shoes
Use cushioned socks to reduce friction
Treat athlete’s foot if present
