Hold the ball with your dominant hand on the laces
Place your other hand lightly on the side of the ball for support
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart
Turn your non-throwing shoulder toward your target
Keep your knees slightly bent
Bring the ball back near your ear or shoulder
Step forward with your opposite foot
Rotate your hips and shoulders toward the target
Release the ball with a smooth motion
Snap your wrist as you let go
Follow through with your throwing arm
Aim for your target and keep your eyes on it
