Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
Clean and oil the grill grates
Pat the swordfish steaks dry
Brush both sides with oil
Season with salt and pepper or your preferred seasoning
Place the swordfish on the grill
Grill for 4 to 5 minutes on the first side
Flip carefully with a spatula or tongs
Grill for another 3 to 5 minutes until opaque and firm
Remove from the grill when the center is just cooked through
Let rest for a few minutes before serving
Serve with lemon or your preferred sauce
