Turn on the printer and the computer
Check the printer connection type: USB, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth
For USB:
Plug the USB cable into the printer
Plug the other end into the computer
For Wi-Fi:
Connect the printer to the same Wi-Fi network as the computer
Open the printer settings or setup menu
Select the Wi-Fi network and enter the password if needed
For Bluetooth:
Turn on Bluetooth on the printer and computer
Pair the printer with the computer
Install the printer driver or software if prompted
Open the computer’s printer settings
Add the printer if it does not appear automatically
Select the printer from the list
Set it as the default printer if desired
Print a test page to confirm it works
