Charge the Ring Doorbell battery fully, if applicable
Download the Ring app on your phone
Create or sign in to your Ring account
Tap Set Up a Device in the app
Select Doorbells and choose your Ring model
Scan the QR code or MAC ID on the device
Follow the app prompts to connect the doorbell to Wi-Fi
Turn off power to any existing doorbell wiring, if present
Remove the old doorbell, if replacing one
Mark and drill mounting holes using the included template
Insert wall anchors if mounting on brick, stucco, or drywall
Attach the mounting bracket to the wall
Connect any required wires, if your model supports optional wiring
Secure the Ring Doorbell to the bracket
Tighten the security screws
Restore power, if applicable
Test the doorbell button, motion detection, and live view in the app
Adjust motion settings, alerts, and camera angle in the Ring app
