Open the Ring app
Select your Ring Doorbell
Tap Device Settings
Tap General Settings
Tap Motion Settings
Turn off Motion Detection
Tap Security Settings
Turn off Alarm or Ring alerts if enabled
Go to Device Health
Tap Power Settings if available
Turn off the device if your model supports it
Remove the battery from battery-powered models
Turn off the circuit breaker for wired models
Disconnect the doorbell transformer for a full power off
Remove the device from the mounting bracket if needed
