Open the Ring app
Select the camera
Tap Device Settings
Tap General Settings
Tap Video Settings or Motion Settings if needed
Toggle off Motion Detection
Toggle off Motion Alerts
Tap Privacy Settings
Enable Privacy Mode if available
Turn off Live View if desired
Open the camera cover or disconnect power if you want it fully off
Remove the battery if it is a battery-powered model
Unplug the power adapter if it is a wired model
Turn off the breaker if the camera is hardwired
Use the Ring app to disable the device if you want to stop notifications only
Delete the device from the Ring app if you want it removed completely
