Wash and dry the zucchini
Trim off both ends
Use a spiralizer, julienne peeler, or vegetable peeler to make noodle-like strands
If using a spiralizer, secure the zucchini and turn it into noodles
If using a julienne peeler, drag it lengthwise along the zucchini to create thin strips
If using a vegetable peeler, peel long ribbons from the zucchini and slice them into thinner strands if desired
Pat the noodles dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture
Use immediately or cook lightly in a skillet for 1 to 3 minutes
Season as desired and serve
