Add 1 to 2 tablespoons chia seeds to 1 cup liquid
Use water, milk, or plant-based milk
Stir well to prevent clumping
Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Stir again after a few minutes
Cook over low heat if making porridge
Simmer until thickened
Add sweetener, fruit, spices, or salt if desired
Serve chilled or warm
