Cut two square sheets of paper
Fold each square in half
Unfold each sheet
Fold each sheet in half the other way
Unfold each sheet
Fold the top and bottom edges toward the center crease
Fold the left and right edges toward the center crease
Fold each sheet in half along the center
Make diagonal folds on each end to create two matching paper pieces
Flip one piece over
Position the two pieces perpendicular to each other
Tuck the flaps of one piece into the pockets of the other piece
Press the center flat
Adjust the points so the star shape is even
