Download and install WhatsApp from the App Store or Google Play Store
Open WhatsApp
Accept the terms and conditions
Enter your phone number
Verify your phone number with the code sent by SMS or call
Set up your profile name and photo
Allow access to contacts, photos, microphone, and notifications if needed
Open the Chats tab
Tap the new chat icon to start a conversation
Select a contact or enter a phone number
Type your message and tap send
Tap the attachment icon to send photos, videos, documents, contacts, or location
Tap the camera icon to take and send a photo or video
Press and hold the microphone icon to record and send a voice message
Tap a chat to open it and read messages
Tap and hold a message to reply, forward, star, delete, or react
Swipe or tap the call icon to make a voice or video call
Open the Status tab to post photos, videos, or text updates
Open Settings to change profile, privacy, notifications, chat, and storage options
Use search to find chats, messages, contacts, or media
Create a group chat from the new chat menu
Add or remove group members from group info
Back up chats in Settings if needed
Log out only by removing the app or changing device access settings
Keep the app updated for the latest features and security updates
