Open the Facebook app or website and log in
Go to Settings and privacy
Select Settings
Open Accounts Center
Select Personal details
Choose Account ownership and control
Select Deactivation or deletion
Choose the Facebook account you want to delete
Select Delete account
Follow the on-screen prompts
Enter your password if required
Confirm the deletion request
Do not log in again during the deletion period if you want the deletion to continue
Wait for the deletion process to complete
Download any data you want to keep before deleting the account
