Brush or detangle your hair first
Gather your hair into the style you want to protect
Hold the bonnet open with both hands
Place the front edge of the bonnet at your forehead or hairline
Pull the bonnet back over the top of your head
Tuck all hair inside the bonnet
Adjust the back so it sits securely over your hair
Smooth the edges around your hairline
Make sure no strands are sticking out
Check that the bonnet feels snug but comfortable
